Primus Promotes Matthew Hirsch to Vice President of Sales
Woodstock, Georgia—Primus Builders proudly announces the promotion of Matthew Hirsch to Vice President of Sales. During his tenure with Primus, Hirsch has achieved considerable success in identifying and cultivating new market opportunities, significantly contributing to Primus Builders’ overall growth. He has also focused on enhancing the company’s presence in targeted markets, mainly through strategic support of both domestic and international industry organizations.
Richard O’Connell, president of Primus Builders, announced Hirsch’s promotion on February 26. “I wanted to acknowledge Matt Hirsch’s hard work and dedication to Primus Builders,” O’Connell said. “He has earned this promotion and will continue to earn it for many years to come. We are fortunate to have Matt on the team.”
Hirsch started his career with Primus Builders in 2007 as Director of Business Development. He has been responsible for setting strategic sales targets, identifying new business opportunities within Primus’ niche market focus, and managing key client accounts. Hirsch has shown significant individual leadership in cultivating relationships and handling all aspects of projects from proposal through project start-up, execution and completion.
In his new role as Vice President of Sales, Hirsch will continue to provide company leadership. He will focus continually on sales strategies, overseeing existing accounts, and expanding Primus’ offerings in both domestic and international markets.

Hirsch’s education in Mechanical Engineering and Operations Management gives him a unique technical and analytical approach to projects. He is a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Hirsch is also an active member of many industry organizations, among them the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW) and the International Association for Cold Storage Construction (IACSC).
