Bubba Foods, LLC, parent company of Bubba Burger®, recently named Atlanta-based Primus Builders to head a new expansion to their Elberton, Georgia, production facility.
Founded in the early 1990s, Bubba Burger® products have become increasingly popular. Originally distributed in the southeast US, BUBBA products are now available nationwide, and the company has introduced several different product lines. Bubba Foods chose Primus as their Design/Build partner for the expansion of their state-of-the-art plant in Elberton, which produces approximately 50 million burgers annually.
The 62,000 SF project will involve an expansion of cooler, freezer and process spaces. The expansion is scheduled to be complete by the summer of 2010.
