January 2009: New Faces at Primus
Dr. Paul VossDirector/Advisor, Ethics and Compliance
As a member of the Primus Board of Directors, Dr. Paul Voss is Director of Ethics and Compliance, and advises the company on its leadership role regarding the ethical responsibilities of management. Dr. Voss is an Associate Professor at Georgia State University and is the President of Ethikos, a private firm specializing in the exploration and application of ethics in corporate, social and legal environments.

Dr. Voss leads ethics seminars and is an accomplished public speaker and guest lecturer. His presentations range from a brief introduction to ethics to the components involved with writing an organization’s specific ethical code. He led Primus employees in a company-wide seminar designed to define and strengthen the company’s stance on ethics and compliance and holds quarterly ethics reviews to discuss the role of ethics in Primus’s day-to-day business operations.

Tony Pitrone VP of Business Development
With over 28 years of experience in nearly every aspect of the construction industry, Mr. Pitrone is an outstanding addition to the
Primus team. His extensive background enables him to communicate and develop client project needs.


One focus of Tony’s role as head of business development will be to develop new clients within the renewable and environmentally sustainable markets as well as integrating “green’” technology into the firm’s professional engineering services and construction projects.

In his prior career, Tony held progressive management positions and boasts experience ranging from construction project management to sales. He was responsible for identifying and developing over one billion dollars’ worth of projects in the food processing and distribution industry.

Jordan Kuhn
Director of Marketing
Jordan’s responsibilities include coordinating all marketing activities for Primus’s design, sales, project management and finance departments. She also oversees all print and trade communication and is responsible for maintaining consistent messaging and branding.

Having worked in the field of corporate communication for over eight years, Jordan is charged with handling all press communication and advertising. Her background in writing and editing, coupled with her experience in marketing and communication, make Jordan a strong addition to the Primus Sales and Marketing team.
Randy BroomeSenior Design Project Manager
Starting with the initial site planning and permitting, Randy directs internal multi-discipline project teams through issuance of construction documents to construction administration and project closeout. With over 36 years of experience, Randy has gained an industry-wide reputation for excellence regarding due diligence, client management, code research and compliance services.

Randy’s career experience spans a wide variety of complex and one-of a-kind projects. His goal is to provide cost-effective design solutions to clients while maintaining the highest level of design commitment.

Randy currently holds professional registration as an architect in nine (9) states. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and is a certificate holder with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.

Matthew ScarboroughProject Manager
Matthew Scarborough’s responsibilities as a project manager include schedule development and validation, negotiation and award of subcontractor and vendor scope, cost control and reporting, contract management, field organization and support, shop drawing and submittal review, invoicing, owner reporting and interface, and all project closeout activities.

Matthew has been involved in the construction industry for over 10 years, working in a multitude of positions including HVAC/Mechanical Designer, Process Planner, Process Designer, Field Engineer, Assistant Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, Process Project Manager and Project Manager.

Matthew’s strong technical background coupled with his mechanical and process design and planning experience allows him to execute complex projects with superior organization and project control.

Dorothy NugentProject Administrator
Dorothy is responsible for daily project administration, including supervising communication and documentation for Primus’ client teams. She has an extensive background in financial reporting, contracts, purchasing and administration. Dorothy has worked in the construction industry for over 17 years.
