H. E. Butt Grocery Company is one of the largest grocery chains in the United States with stores throughout Texas and in Mexico. Due to revenue growth in Southern Texas and high transportation costs, H. E. Butt decided to build a new 400,000 SF dry grocery Facility in Weslaco, TX.

The facility is designed as a cross dock and has 82 dock positions. Features of the building include a shrink-compensating concrete slab, Sarnafil roof system and an ESFR fire sprinkler system. The facility is tempered to 80° for the comfort of H. E. Butt’s associates and utilizes insulated metal panels on the exterior of the building for energy savings.
