Valley Cold Storage and Transportation provides state-of-the-art refrigeration and transportation services to the retail, foodservice, distribution and agricultural industries of southern New Mexico and West Texas. The company selected Primus Builders to design and construct their new 32,000 SF refrigerated warehouse in Las Cruces.
The facility features a capacity of 1,667,390 cubic feet and a 0°F to -10°F freezer space, as well as a 35°F refrigerated warehouse space. Highlights of the project include a computer-controlled storage environment, full and partial pallet handling, cross-dock services, three refrigerated docks, and import/export rail siding for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. The facility is also USDA Export approved.
