Lineage Logistics is one of the country’s largest providers of customized cold chain solutions. The firm specializes in public refrigerated warehousing, port-centric warehousing and dedicated distribution facilities. To meet the demands of its growing clientele, Lineage selected Primus to provide design-build services for a 180,000 SF greenfield cold storage distribution facility located in North Charleston, SC. This facility serves as a regional import/export hub for protein products destined for domestic and international markets. The facility features the newest high-capacity blast freezing technology and offers road and rail access (via a Norfolk Southern rail line) as well as immediate ship access to the Port of Charleston.
