Tyson’s Pottsville, PA distribution center serves retail and foodservice customers in the Northeast region including Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. The expansion will allow Tyson to distribute its full portfolio of protein brands from one central location.
Tyson selected Primus to provide turn-key design and construction services for the 164,000 SF facility addition. Features include expanded cold storage building spaces, break room, driver room, material handling, and dock and freezer expansions.
The 107,775 SF, 120’ tall, -10° freezer features a rack supported ASRS including eight cranes and a 64,000 SF conventional freezer.
