Case Farms Chicken selected Primus Builders, Inc. to provide the full range of design-build services (mechanical engineering, architecture, insulated metal panel installation, construction management) on a 102,000 SF Greenfield refrigerated warehouse in Dudley, North Carolina. The new facility will serve as a regional distribution center for Case Farms frozen chicken.
The warehouse will operate an ammonia refrigeration system and feature a -33° GEA automated carton freezing system (VRT). The freezer will also reach a temperature of -10°. The 34° dock will feature 12 dock doors. The palletizing area and the cooler will also be 34°.

The project is expected to be completed in August 2016.
