United States Cold Storage

United States Cold Storage (USCS) has been a leading provider of public refrigerated warehouse services since 1889. In 2013, Primus partnered with USCS to complete Phase I of a greenfield cold storage building in Dallas, Texas. The 205,000 SF facility features convertible freezers, a 2-story office and a 1-story employee welfare area.

USCS then selected Primus to provide design-build services on the facility’s Phase II expansion. That project totaled 151,000 SF. Its 117,708 SF convertible freezer warehouse is designed to reach temperatures of -20°F. The 117,708 SF dock reaches 36°F. Both the building and the site were expanded to accommodate rail service.

Primus than completed Phase III . This phase totaled 170,000 SF and features convertible and freezer rooms ranging from -20° – 35°.
